Making a purchase
Browse the site, and if you see a product you wish to purchase,
click on the ‘Add to Cart’ button underneath it.
You can continue to add items until you have completed your
order, and you can also continue to other parts of the site
before returning to your shopping cart, without losing the
items you have already selected.
You can remove items, or indeed completely empty your cart
at any time by simply clicking on the appropriate button.
When you have chosen all the goods you require, click the
‘checkout’ item and follow the instructions for
purchasing the items that you have chosen. You can check the
items in your shopping cart at any time by simply clicking
the ‘view cart’ button.
The site uses a login and password system, which means that
returning customers will not have to re-enter all their personal
information. and re-ordering will be a lot quicker. However,
if you do not wish to register you can proceed to our quick
check-out. Please bear in mind, that if you do this, you will
need to re-enter your details again next time you order from
the site.
Order handling, despatch and
postage charges
How can I place an order?
The easiest way to buy products from us is online. Soon after
an order is placed, you will receive an email confirmation
for the transaction amount. This means your bank has authorised
the transaction. You wil receive your order confirmation from
us once your goods have been despatched.
You can pay by Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Solo, American Express
or Delta. All transactions are processed on a secure server.

Can you deliver bulk items/Are there discounts for
Corporate Accounts?
We are happy to fulfill bulk orders from businesses.
Be it an order for sales force, management team, call centre
staff, trade suppliers or whoever, we are happy to specially
tailor a solution for you. To discuss your requirements

What are my delivery options?
We deliver our products to any address in the United Kingdom
(including Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and Islands,
the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands). The delivery address
must be the same as the credit card address.
For information on delivery to a non-UK address please contact
us with full details, and we will respond to you within two
working days on whether or not we can arrange delivery and
what the price will be.
Most orders are sent out the day we receive them. Orders
received after 2pm are sent the next working day.
For all other UK addresses you can choose from two delivery
options:
Our standard service costs £8.50
for up to 10 kilos and uses business post 48 hours recorded
post which aims to deliver by the third working day after
despatch; e.g. place your order by 2pm on Tuesday and it should
be delivered by Friday.
Small items will be sent via recorded delivery.
Cancellations & returns
guitarempire.co.uk reserve the right to refuse
any order or part of order, or to require further or better
information to enable it to evaluate or process the order.
We take pride in the quality of our products and the reliability
of the Guitar Empire service.
We rely on the accuracy of the shipping details you give
us and cannot accept liability for late or failed delivery
if this is incorrect. If an order remains undelivered
we will email you for further instructions. If it is
not claimed within a reasonable time we will recredit the
price of the goods to your credit card less any costs and
admin fees incurred by us.
In accordance with the Distance Selling Directive (2000),
if you are not completely happy with any item you have purchased
from us, for whatever reason, please send it back for a full
refund of the purchase price. This guarantee is good for 7
days from the original delivery date providing the items are
returned undamaged and in the same packaging as despatched.

and let us know that you would like to return an item(s) before
you return anything. You will then be sent a Returns Authorisation
number and address. We advise customers to acquire proof of
posting from the post office, or to send goods by special
delivery. Once we have received the goods the refund will
go to the purchaser's credit card, and this cost excludes
the cost of delivery. In the event that you received damaged
or faulty goods we will issue a full refund including the
costs of post and packaging.
This does not affect your statutory
rights as a consumer. If you have a comment or complaint about

Will the package received be exactly as seen on the website?
Almost always, yes. However from time to time a problem may
occur with a particular item. We reserve the right to replace
items with an item of an equal or greater value in this circumstance.
Paying for your order
We accept all credit and debit cards which show the Visa,
Mastercard, Switch or Delta symbols. All such payments are
taken using the secure payments system.

The price for each product shown includes VAT at 17.5% where
applicable..

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only
use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in

to process your order and second, to provide you with the
best possible service.
We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given

to complain, but if you do have such a reason, then we can

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England

you are making an offer to purchase the goods contained within
that order. We reserve the right to accept or decline that
offer. We do our utmost to ensure that the prices displayed
on our website are correct. However we reserve the right to
validate those prices before we process your order. We will
